Yes, for safety reasons, individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult on a kayak. Additionally, participants under the age of 19 require a person over the age of 19 to sign their waiver. We welcome children of all ages to join us, provided they are accompanied by an adult and can properly fit into a lifejacket.

For boat tours, we welcome all ages as long as they are accompanied by an adult and can properly fit into a PFD approved lifejacket. 

The weight limit for our kayaks is 440 lbs. These limits are set based on product specifications to ensure safety and optimal performance. 

Our kayaks are designed with your comfort and convenience in mind, making them perfect for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike. We understand that trying a new water activity can sometimes be intimidating, but rest assured, our kayaks are specially crafted to provide excellent stability, ensuring a safe and enjoyable adventure for everyone. 

For any bookings with Wolastoq Adventures, we recommend bringing comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities, including quick-drying materials and layered attire to accommodate changing weather conditions. Don't forget to wear water-friendly footwear such as water shoes or secure sandals for kayak rentals. Also, don't forget to bring a valid piece of ID for the waiver and good vibes! 

Yes, we offer a 10% discount on our services to military personnel, students, and status First Nations. You can find more details about our special rates on our price list.

Yes, all participants are required to sign a waiver before engaging in any activities with Wolastoq Adventures. Valid ID is required at check in. Participants under the age of 19 require someone over 19  to sign their waiver and must accompany them to check-in with valid ID. Your safety is our utmost concern, and signing the waiver helps ensure a clear understanding of the inherent risks involved in water activities.
